Assignments List

PreviousAssignmentsNextTerms of Engagement List

Last updated 11 months ago

The Assignment List page in InterVal provides an overview of all the valuation assignments, allowing users to efficiently manage and track their projects. An assignment serves as a folder or placeholder that contains one or more Terms of Engagement (TOEs). TOEs cannot exist without being linked to an assignment, ensuring that all valuation projects are properly organized and easily accessible.

1 - Assignments Page

  1. New Assignment Button: Clicking this button allows users to create a new assignment folder to group related TOEs.

  2. Modules: Display the total number of assignments, TOEs, properties, and valuations in the InterVal system.

  3. Search Bar: Allows users to quickly search for specific assignments by name or ID.

  4. Project Manager Filter: Filters assignments based on the assigned project manager.

  5. Display Assignments with Ongoing ToEs: Toggles the view to show only assignments that have ongoing TOEs.

  6. Reset Button: Clears any applied filters, returning the assignment list to its default state.

  7. Assignment Table: Displays a list of all assignments, including columns for Assignment ID, Project Manager, Agency, Total ToE, and Ongoing ToE. Each row represents a single assignment folder.

  8. Ongoing ToE: Indicates the number of ongoing Terms of Engagement within each assignment.

  9. Action Buttons: Allow users to view, edit, or delete an assignment. The view button opens the assignment details page, the edit button allows users to modify the assignment properties, and the delete button removes the assignment from the system.

2 - Assignments Form

The Assignment Form is used to create new assignments or edit existing ones, allowing users to define the key properties and details of an assignment folder.

  1. Back Button: Returns the user to the Assignment List page.

  2. Save Button: Saves the assignment details and creates or updates the assignment folder.

  3. Assignment ID: A unique identifier for the assignment, which can be automatically generated or manually entered.

  4. Project Manager: Allows users to select the project manager responsible for overseeing the assignment.

  5. Agency: Specifies the agency or client associated with the assignment.

  6. Point of Contact: Identifies the main point of contact for the assignment, such as a client representative or key stakeholder.

  7. Description: Provides a brief description or overview of the assignment, helping users quickly understand the nature and scope of the project.

By organizing TOEs into assignment folders, InterVal helps users streamline their valuation projects, making it easier to manage multiple engagements and track progress. The Assignment List and Assignment Form work together to provide a user-friendly interface for creating, modifying, and monitoring valuation assignments, ensuring that all project-related information is easily accessible and well-structured.
